2012 Voter Information with November edition

The November edition of Good News, etc. will be made available on Saturday, Oct. 27th and will contain the Family Voter Guide. Readers of Good News, etc. will be able to look at the 2012 candidates running in this election and see how they have stand on family values. There will be other editorial content written by local pastors who will give their opinion and insight for Christians who will be voting in November.

40 Days for Life "Late Campaign Rally" with Shawn Carney

Shawn Carney, co-founder and national campaign director of 40 Days For Life, will be the featured speaker on Friday, October 26, 2012, at the "Late Campaign Rally." The meeting will be from 7 to 8:30 pm at St. Therese of Carmel Parish Hall, located at 4355 Del Mar Trails Road, San Diego.  This will be the "closing rally" for the fall campaign of 40 Days for Life in San Diego County, which is being held a little early in order to have Shawn as the featured speaker. Attendees will also hear from Grace Dulaney, president of the Agnus Dei Foundation, which is a non-profit organization with a mission to be "a bridge of hope through the gift of adoption"  and also from Roger Lopez, sidewalk counselor with Helpers of God's Precious Infants San Diego.  Roger will talk about some of the women and babies saved in front of FPA on Miramar Road during the 40 Days for Life Campaign.  There will be food, refreshments and a time to socialize with the prayer warriors and pro-life friends.  For more information, contact www.helpersSD.org

Parent Education Night Series in October

Lambs of Faith Lutheran Early Childhood Center is hosting a Parent Education series on "Conscious Discipline." Imagine transforming everyday discipline conflicts with children, adults and within yourself into peace and cooperation. It will transform your understanding of the brain as you discover insider secrets to positive discipline, developing character, cooperation, respect and responsibility. This is a 4 part video series that will be held Thursdays in October from 6-8 p.m.. We will meet in the Community Life Center at 700 East Bobier Dr. Vista, CA 92084. The CRY 4 Life - PRO-LIFE LEADERS AMASSING WORLD OUTCRY - Millions Wail for Justice and Mercy.

A large coalition of Christian ministers believes abortion will end soon. The group known as “Cry4Life” finds hope in both spiritual and civil realms. With new educational and legal tools, they advocate equal rights for the unborn. Partnerships are forming globally to cry out to God for these lives. Roe v Wade will soon have stood for forty years, allowing for the slaughter of over 55 million innocent American children. Many burdened leaders have begun to hear from God. As one voice they have cried out, “Is there not a cause. Abortion can end. If not now—then when?” Thus, many strong cries have birthed, Cry4Life. Their efforts will augment the next annual “March For Life” (MFL) from Washington D. C. on January 25th 2013. The 39th MFL streamed past the Supreme Court with a record-setting 500,000 marchers. Cry4Life now seeks to link the next rally globally with millions more. “Is there not a cause?” Abortions reported worldwide number over fifty million per year. In recent decades those totals far exceed one billion. Such causalities loom over death counts in all the wars and calamities of history. Abortion related complications also kill and maim thousands yearly—all women. Tens of thousands of unborn children aborted daily impacts every corner of the globe. Together we are living in a GLOBAL ABORTION HOLOCAUST. China’s One Child Policy and India’s dowry weddings have influenced hundreds of millions to abort mostly girls (gendercide). Birth ratios in both of these countries have declined 17% historically to 120 boys born for every 100 girls. Abortion related complications cause the deaths annually of over 50,000 Indian and Chinese women. In Russia, it is not uncommon over the childbearing years for many women to have experienced nine or ten abortions. Africa and South America are obvious targets of UN population control agendas called, Sustainable Development. Obamacare now mandates Health Plans to include sterilization procedures along with abortion, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs—even to college age girls—all paid for by American taxpayers. In the U.S. abortion kills three times more blacks than whites. The Reverend Clenard H. Childress calls the practice “black genocide”. He says it is “The greatest deception [to] plague the black church since Lucifer himself”. Daughter of slain civil-rights leader A.D. King and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King—Alveda C. King wrote:“How can the ‘Dream’ survive if we murder our children? Every aborted baby is like a slave in the womb of his or her mother. In the hands of the mother is the fate of that child…. That choice, the final choice of whether the child lives or dies, should be left to God, Who ultimately says ‘choose life!’ Abortion and racism are evil twins, born of the same lie. Where racism now hides its face in public, abortion is accomplishing the goals of which racism only once dreamed. Together, abortionists are destroying humanity at large and the black community in particular.” Cry4Life leader, Allan Parker: Constitutional Attorney: Justice Foundation director, seeks to overturn landmark abortion cases. One goal—collect one million testimonies of women hurt by abortion to submit in U.S. Supreme Court. Another leader, Bill Fowler: Christian minister, advocates District and County Attorney’s subpoena blood evidence from abortion clinics to define when life begins. He states, “Our court system is built on case law precedents. Previous trials have imprisoned thousands with DNA evidence from crime scenes. This scientific testimony proves that 3,143 murders take place daily in American abortion mills. DNA means ‘Do Not Abort’.” In 2011 alone, State legislatures enacted over 90 life-saving abortion-related laws. Even State and Federal governments cut deep into Planned Parenthoods’ abortion industry budgets. What can turn our world around? NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS. Yes, He shed His Blood for our sins because He loves us. Will millions cry in the Philippines, Red Square, Delhi, and Tiananmen Square? Will new legal tools and massive rallies of wailing in public squares end abortion? This is a GLOBAL CALL to Millions of Women, Men and Youth around the world to gather in public arenas, churches, and city squares, to Cry out to God for His deliverance. The Heavens declare the Glory of God. The God of Heaven hears the Cries of His People. “Thus says the Lord of Hosts: Consider and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for skillful wailing women, that they may come. Let them make haste and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run with tears and our eyelids gush with water. “For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion: How we are plundered! We are greatly ashamed, because we have forsaken the land, because we have been cast out of our dwellings. “Yet hear the word of the Lord, O women, and let your ear receive the word of His mouth; teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor a lamentation. For death has come through our windows, has entered our palaces, to kill your children.” Jeremiah 9:17-21 Our prayer: “Jesus we cry to you and only you on behalf of your people. Help us in our hour of need. The Holy Spirit in America - guest comment by David Andrade

Many say that America stands at its tipping point. I hear the words A Line is being Drawn In The Sand by many over and over concerning where America and the World will stand in the near future. Yes, we are at a pivot, and the elections will reveal where believers stand on many issues? Some sense that debate and negotiations are the answer to the world problems, others that we are on a steady decline and there is not more that can be done and some are proclaiming judgment. I say, we are at one of the greatest moments in the History of the Church. And that it is a moment when our God will arise but not by reasoning and debate but rather as the church sets its eyes on what gives the Father pleasure, the harvest. I like many reading this monologue once lived on a course that opposed God and is no different that most Americans and the world today. I loved the party life and all that came with it, until one day, I met Jesus. Until that moment, I was as religious as most, until one moment I was born again from the inside out. All at once, most of the before life was interrupted by a nature encounter with the living God. In a moment that which I once loved to do, was passed for a new love for Him with a heart set on His Kingdom and nature. My brothers and sister, we are not going to change the world and its direction through debate or trying to change peoples mind. The only way this world is going to change is as people are born-again, and empowered to be His witness through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. My brothers and sisters. In the few minutes that i have taken to share this appeal, thousands have entered into eternity without Christ, with no chance of ever knowing the goodnes and faithfulness of a God that loves them our what Jesus did so that they can have relationship with the father. Just a few moments in the last 100 yrs. WELSH REVIVAL -1904-1905 In the early nineteen hundreds the church rose up to fast, pray and seek God for a restoration visitation. In 1904, the Welsh Revival broke forth in a small coal miners town. This restoration revival of the Spirit moved over the face of the entire earth after which smoldering pockets of revival emerged in small churches and cells throughout America. For years, there remained expectancy in the hearts of people that “God was about to move again”. In 1896, a small group of people gathered in North Carolina and God opened “Heaven’s door”. An outpouring of the Spirit shook them as the little bunch began to prophecy and speak in new tongues. Later in 1901, God moved again among another handful of believers in Topeka, Kansas and Charles Parham . These events staged the beginning of a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would change the look of Christianity over the face of the whole earth. A few years later, the fires of God continued to smolder in small gatherings until an appointed moment on God’s time clock. AZUSA STREET REVIVAL – 1906 In the early years of the 1900′s in Los Angeles, California, a great Holy Spirit encounter began in a small living room on Bonnie Brae Street. So great was the stir of the Holy Spirit power that the street soon filled with thousands waiting to hear and see what God was doing. The word moved quickly as thousands slept on the streets to get a glimpse of William Seymour and receive the power of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that continually left visitors drunk in the Spirit on the streets for hours. Seymour and the small band of Holy Spirit filled followers soon needed room to accommodate the hundreds sometime thousands of visitors that waited day and night to get close enough to the little house. They soon occupied a facility on Azusa Street, giving rise to the name, The Azusa Street Revival. The word of this God visitation spread rapidly across the United States of America. As the gold rush summoned many to the expectation of riches in San Francisco, God did not disappoint those that came from around the globe to receive a touch from Him. They had come for a trickle of water and instead received a river gushing from their bellies. Endowed with the power and the fullness of the Holy Ghost, they returned to their hamlets, gathering believers, to share with them concerning what had happened. They were pleasantly surprised to find that as they gave testimony to the events, others received this Holy Spirit experience. As a result, Holy Spirit filled believers began to gather in homes all across America, making great, anointed preachers out of no-name-bodies. Other prior revivals had stirred the intellect of man. This revival was an external display of Holy Ghost power and His work in them. Men and women were shaken, speaking in “unknown tongues” and “prophesying,” seeing visions, angels and receiving deep God experiences that moved them to greater hunger and desperation for God, moving in the gifts and revelation of the Spirit and imparting the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to others. Many seeking the deeper things of God were excommunicated from denominational Churches that had enjoyed previous restoration revival movements. The central doctrine of this new Pentecostal movement was the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” with the evidence of speaking in an “unknown tongue.” Many new Pentecostal denominations began to rise as a result. The new movement emphasized the Pentecost experience at the birth of the early Church and the completion of the great commission to go to the world and tell every creature. Again. Over 650 million born-agin believers attribute their roots to a small group of 12 individuals and their relentless pursuit in intercession to take hold of the Acts 2:38 promise of the Father. On Oct 27th 2012 The nations will gather again as they did at the Rose Bowl on 11.11.11 to cry out to our God for global Holy Spirit outpouring that will change our world for another 100 years. Our there at least 12 that will take hold of this Last day promise, and seek our God on behalf of our loved ones, neighbors and friends to see his glory poured out over the face of the earth.
