Volunteers Needed for The Rock and Worship Roadshow

On March 9 the major production Rock & Worship Roadshow concert with MERCYME, Tenth Avenue North, LeCrae, and 4 other artists is coming to the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego (previously called The San Diego Sport Arena).

This nationally touring concert has appeared at arenas in California the past 3 years BUT this is the first time ever in San Diego. This is going to be an incredible concert with no doubt 8,000 (plus) in attendance.

I desperately need about 80 volunteers.

Volunteers are needed in 3 main categories of help:
1. Merchandise sales
2. Door entrance management
3. Ushering and offering taking

Please consider the following:

1. ALL Volunteers must report to the arena by 4:15 since the doors open at 6:00 and we need time for volunteer orientation. As much as we would like to, volunteers cannot arrive later to join the team because the assignments will be given, training done, and staffing deployed at 4:30 ish..

Once on site LOOK FOR SIGNS that say “VOLUNTEER ENTRANCE”.

2. ALL volunteers need to be adults (17 and over).

3. Assignments will be given at the 4:30 staffing orientation meeting, based on who is there. For example, we like to use men as door personnel. Some may be more inclined to usher, some may want to serve as merchandise sellers (selling the artists t-shirts, CD’s etc.).

4. MOST of the volunteers will be merchandise sellers, that is the area of responsibility where the personnel need is the greatest.

5. There is no child care provision so unless children are old enough to be left unsupervised a parent bringing a child should not volunteer.

6. The other key person who will be assisting me in managing personnel staffing at the arena is Paul Pickard. Cell numbers for Paul and I will be provided once we communicate to the final list of volunteers.

Please send me a confirmation if you WILL volunteer. Please reply to: Jon@CelebrationConcerts.com.

This is going to be a tremendous concert and the artists and I greatly appreciate your willingness to help. Believe me, this concert and the blessings that will come as a result, can NOT happen without a great volunteer team

I am the Director of the Spirit West Coast festivals and Celebration Concerts and one of the promoters of the concert.

Blessings to you,

JON ROBBERSON

40 Days for Life San Diego

Helper's of God's Precious Infants helped 6 women this past weekend at Family Planning Associates
on Mirimar Rd. to realize they have choices concerning their pregnancy.

Thanks to Helpers of God's Precious Infants, Dr. Delgado, and his team at Culture of Life Family Services,
COLFS, and all who pray for life, women are being counseled, given Sonograms, exploring
the available options so they can make an informed decision in San Diego. All who have taken this step
have been so very thankful for the loving care they have been given, and most choose life for
themselves and their child.

Texas Law now requires a Sonogram be given at least 48 hours prior to a women consenting
to an abortion. Praise be to God, and let us continue to pray that this law be enacted in
every state. Click here to read entire article: http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/08/10355099-texas-begins-enforcing-strict-anti-abortion-sonogram-law Planned Parenthood in this article is not happy with
this decision due to lost revenue of some 75,000 abortions they preformed in this state alone last year.

40 Days for Life begins this coming February 22, Ash Wednesday, with Candlelight Vigils
being held in 3 locations on February 21, evening at 6:30 PM. Come pray with us, be present
for those who think they have no where to turn. To learn more go to: http://www.40daysforlife.com/sandiego/
